We have an immediate need for a MATERIALS EXPEDITOR JOB DESCRIPTION 6+ Month Contract Assignment Description - Materials Expeditor Monitor, report and mitigate supplier's performance in terms of delivery schedule in order to prevent any delay and when applicable, develop and implement the appropriate recovery plan to improve delivery. The Expeditor checks that the documentation received in connection with the orders entrusted to him / her are complete and takes into account any information and suggestion relevant to supply criticality. The Expeditor may also coordinate or liaison with traffic and logistics to ensure the proper transportation mode, documentation, transit, etc. is performed. The Expeditor receives day-to-day work direction and reports functionally to the Project Procurement Lead and Project Manager within the assigned project. Job Responsibilities: Develops an expediting plan for critical equipment Reviews received documentation for accuracy Monitors, reports and mitigates supplier's performance on the contracted delivery schedule Develops and implements the appropriate recovery plan to improve delivery and coordinates or liaison's with Logistics to ensure the proper transportation mode, documentation, transit, etc. is performed. Experience Minimum 4 years as an Expeditor and/or Buyer, Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Suites, Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills TAKE ACTION!
