Job Description:
Position:Procurement Clerk - 2 Open Positions Department:Procurement Pay Rate:$12 - $13/hr. depending on experience Position Summary: The Procurement Clerk will assist the Procurement Department in efficiently running the categories to achieve established department goals. The Procurement Clerk will help to organize the category of products to increase efficiency and profitability. Duties will primarily be administrative. Duties include but not limited to: Data Entry of Discounts and Purchase Orders Answering Phones Tracking Purchase Orders Revising Purchase Orders Prepare New Products for Market Solving Product Problems Maintain and Create Purchasing Reports Communicate with vendors and brokers Coordination with Marketing, Accounting and other internal departments Other duties to support the Procurement Department, as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Successful candidates will have extensive knowledge in the following: Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook Basic to intermediate typing ability, specifically ten-key A minimum of 6 months experience in similar position/environment Be self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills Be extremely detail-oriented, organized, work well independently and in teams Strong ability to multi-task and function effectively in a fast paced environment We are an equal employment opportunity employer.df-mn
